Lavern Polite

Lavern Polite, 76 of Orange NJ passed away on April 23, 2020. Lavern is survived by her only son Kenneth (Abdul Hamid) Thompson with his wife Crystal Thomspon, siblings Delores Minor, Donald (Basir) Jones, Margarie Jones, Teenella Denise Cunningham, Johnnie Jones-Tucker (Patrick Tucker), Terrance (Bilal) Jones (Samantha Jones), grandson Reshaun Hamil Craweley, step-grandson Ryan Henderson, step-granddaugther Shannon Henderson, five step-greatgrandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews to many to list, and also many friends and associates from over the years. Lavern was predeceased by her parents Leroy and Decola Jones, five brothers Ronald Jones, Bobby Jones, Dennis Jones, Delton Jones and Leroy Jones Jr. and one step-grandson Robert Henderson. Lavern retired from the United Postal Service after 30 plus years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, World traveling and spending her time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
